This project presents an exhibition of photographs from the Central Park, in New York. The work engages in a sustained observation of the surrounding landscape, leisure and social activities. It’s an exploration of contemporary uses of the park//landscapes with figures arranged in a manner reminiscent of the historical paintings of Impresjonist Artist. It’s a little reviving the nostalgia of 19th-century paintings for our 21st-century way of thinking and leaving. This body of work encompasses the reciprocal influence of landscape and society, oscillating between the past and present in this visual picture of people in the park.
